"Slow and Steady wins the race" The Tortoise from Aesops Fables The Tortoise and the Hare. A running group for people who run 9.5 to 11.5 minute pace with occassional walk breaks. Interested in running during the day (between 9am and 2pm) in the Myers Park area. All ages, male or female. Let's pick a day and time to get started. Maybe expand into more days. Maybe train for half marathon, but generally 3-6 mile runs.

This weekly exercise group will meet each Wednesday, October 9th through December 4th, from 6:30-7:30pm for a 5 minute devotion, followed by a "Couch to 5K" walking/running program. We'll meet in the parking lot of Light of Christ United Methodist Church, where we'll begin with a brief devotion by our Pastor, and then we'll hit the road.
