This is a group for anyone interested in 5K/10K runs for the road and trails. All running levels are welcome!!!! I'm just getting back into running, and getting back into shape. I wanted to meet other people in the area who like to have fun while they run, want to train for upcoming events, and meet new people who also enjoy the outdoors.
After a lifetime of "someday" I'm committing to getting out there and running a full 5k. I'm a beginner, and I know there must be other beginners out there who could use the support and socialization that a group could provide. No matter what your skill level, let's encourage and support each other to run/walk some 5ks. I'm interested in local trail running as well as registering as a group for 5ks. We can meet at local parks and break into smaller groups based on fitness level if we need to.
